#245 - Limits

Coming up to the change of year it always feels like there is a lot of pressure to make a new start.  To promise yourself things or to seek to change yourself in some way seems to be the order of most January beginnings.  I think that before we leap into another year of resolutions, it would not hurt to look at what our limits are.  Where are your edges?  What is your limit?  Where do you stop and another begins?  What are the edges to your property? Your travel zone? Your boundaries?  How can you make resolutions if you don't know where they simply won't wiggle through?

What or where are your limits?

Linda Jacobs, could not leave a comment on your site without that Captcha thing they use here...

Actually, having been bulimic in the past, I found the poem touching, sad, and optimistic all at once. We worry so much about weight, and I was caught in a down cycle. So my reading differed from others'...

Great work! Amy BL

I'm just trying my best to take an optimistic view of being forced to recognize my limits by some health issues.

This is the first time I have written something to share on Sunday Scribblings.

Mine is short and sweet as I haven't done any writing in a while (apart from blog posts). I hope as I get back into the swing of things, my writing will improve!

I have written a haiku using "limits" as my inspiration, but I guess really it is about regret, which in itself can be very limiting.

I hope you like it.

It took me a long time to figure out what I was going to do, but once I decided it went pretty well. Thanks for the prompt!
