#243 - Antidote

I read an article yesterday that made reference to an 'antidote to Christmas.'  Talk about missing the point!  But it started me thinking about what else we could use an antidote for in our lives.  Where have you needed an antidote?  Do you need one now?  What do you make of antidote?

Apologies in advance for those of you that specialise in haiku. This is the first time I have attempted the form.

My fiction gene has been activated. :) I took the prompt and worked it into a story idea I've considering. Thanks for another great prompt!

Hi, I participated in this for the first time today. (: I actually didn't know yet how I felt about what I wrote, it's very personal, so I password protected it. But I would LOVE to have any of you read and comment on it, so please use the password "Samantha" to log in. Thank you!

And this WAS a great antidot o my writer's block.. thanks!

Well I tried my best to make this post fit the prompt. Maybe it's an antidote to ugly old furniture, but I did promise to show you all my finished product--the one I started with the bright idea prompt.
