#242 - What a Difference a Day Makes

The prompt this week is inspired by the difference between how I felt yesterday (at work) and how I feel today (on holiday!)  But I know that you can go deeper than that!  The prompt is: what a difference a day makes.

So much could be said, yet so much could be left to ponder on this one. Thanks for the opportunity.

It's been a long time since I participated in Sunday Scribblings. It feels good to be back in the grove and the prompt was great. Verbal: What a Difference a Day or Night Can Make

A lot of you know I'm on Wordpress and unless the Captcha feature is turned on (as it is below here) I cannot leave comments. Hope Maureen sees this one:

Dear Maureen,

Laundry water flowing through your veins... what an excellent way to describe depression, which I have endeavored to do from my own experience on many occasions. One of the best metaphors I've heard, seriously. Sad but lovely.

I would love any feedback on my excerpt! I haven't written in a while and this 'genre' is definitely new to me. The prompt I used involved using or being inspired by the word 'ignite.'

My first visit here. I wrote this poem today before I saw this prompt. Now there's a coincidence(or maybe not)!
